Iwan brings over eight years of international research experience from ETH Zurich, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, the Paul Scherrer Institute and Chalmers University of Technology. His professional background includes strategic management at Infineon Singapore (APAC) and supply chain and sales at ABB Switzerland.
Holding a PhD in Thermodynamics (top 8% ETH Zurich) and a CAS in Entrepreneurial Leadership, he has received the ETH Silver Medal and the Swiss Nanotechnology PhD Award. He leads Solabs’ scientific direction, translating thermodynamics insights into durable coatings that reach industrial scale.
